Having been called together of the Lord under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and resting our faith completely on the Lord Jesus Christ's merits and adopting from the Scriptures/Holy Bible as our sole rule of faith and practice we band ourselves together as a body of Christ and adopt the following statements as the basis and practice of our faith.

Basis of Faith

1. That God is one, revealed in scripture as a Trinity of persons existing eternally, as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. - Matthew 28:19
​
2. That the Bible is the word of God, a sure basis for our faith and of final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice. - 2 Timothy. 3:16
​
3. That Jesus Christ was God manifest in flesh, conceived of the Holy Spirit of 'God, born of the Virgin Mary, being perfect God and perfect Man. - Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25
​
4. That man without exception is by nature and by practice a fallen creature and is consequently under condemnation and unable by any personal merit or works to fit himself for the presence of God. - Romans 3:23; Titus 3:5
​
5. That in love our Lord Jesus Christ suffered the penalty for sin at Calvary: that He rose from the dead, and now lives in Heaven as Saviour and Lord. - John 1:14; 2 Corinthians 8: 9; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Acts 5:30-31

6. That by personal faith in Christ one may receive forgiveness of sin and receive the gift of God which is eternal life. - Ephesians 2:8-9; Colossians 1:14; Romans 6:23

7. That all rejecting Christ as Saviour are lost eternally. - John 36; Revelations 20:11
​
8. That all believers are indwelt by the Holy spirit of God. - 2 Corinthians 1: 22; Romans 8:9
​
9. That believers should be baptised by water. - Acts 2:41; Acts 8:35-39; Romans 6:3-4
​
10. That the Lord Jesus is coming again:
       (a) for His Church - 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17; Philippians 3:20-21
       (b) with His church to establish His Kindgdom on earth - 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10;                                                 Revelations 19:11-16
​
11. That hereafter there will be a resurrection, judgement and eternal punishment of the unsaved dead, but for the redeemed a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness. - Revelations 21:1-3
​
Practice of Faith
 
1) The Scriptural observance of the ordinance of Believer Baptism by immersion on personal confession of faith and the commemoration of the Lord's death in the Breaking of Bread on the first day of the week in so far as circumstances allow.

3. The conducting of meetings for worship under the guidance of the Holy Spirit with the opportunity for the exercise in the assembly of all true gifts for edification subject to the Lordship of Christ

4. The preaching of the Gospel of God and the establishing of assemblies (churches) of believers in accordance with Divine Command
